LifeScale® is an award winning, unique and automated medical device for rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Used in both microbiology research and in clinical laboratory environments, this medical device yields results in under three hours instead of what previously took days to complete. The enclosure was functionally designed to keep the liquid samples visible with the lids closed and to take up as little bench space as possible. The aesthetic challenge included utilizing low volume manufacturing processes to produce a high-perceived value for a medical/scientific product. The design details include a chamfer that wraps around the top edge of the unit, which reflects the path that individual cells take around the sensor inside. The dual lids on the unit are electronically locked during testing. Special hinges that apply torque help lift the lids with ease when access is needed. 

The Royal Vort-X is an award winning, high-powered premium blender that was designed to be part of the INNOVE™ housewares product family from Royal Prestige. A chrome-plated, die-cast zinc base houses a powerful motor and a beautifully curved, intuitive, capacitive-touch control panel. Gliding your finger across the arc of light in the center of the panel allows for effortless control of the motor speed, and the responsive cap-touch buttons allow for precise control of pulses. Inside the glass (or higher capacity, optional plastic) carafe, subtle vertical ribs guide particles back into the center of the vortex for even, consistent blending. Silicone gaskets around the edges of the lid and removable knob provide a leak-free experience. A robust, ergonomic handle provides complete control while pouring from the carafe. Every aspect of the Royal Vort-X has been designed and scrutinized in order to provide the best possible blending experience.

The award winning design of this housewares product utilizes a two-phase water filtration system: A Carbon Activated Filter followed by an Ultra Filtration Membrane. The aesthetic development incorporated a 316 stainless steel canister and an LED indicator to notify the user when the cartridge should be replaced as well as the amount of water that has been filtered. The FrescaPure 6000 has two options for installation: Straight to the faucet or under-counter installation.

The benches' retractable arms uniquely and safely lower the weighted bar over the user's sweet spot across the chest and retract upon lift-off. The design eliminates the dangerous stress on the shoulders, which is imposed when the user reaches up and back to lift the weighted bar off the traditional starting position.
